Nicky Hager’s book “Dirty Politics” has captured the headlines since it was released and has rocked this election campaign. At a recent public meeting in Auckland, Nicky Hager engaged with the public answering questions and explaining the ethos behind the book and how he came to write it. Josh O’Sullivan was there.
It was an electric atmosphere with more than a thousand people packed in to hear this world-renowned investigative journalist share his take on why he felt it so necessary to release these hacked emails in the name of public interest. In his words “This book is not really about dirty political tricks and the machinations of Cameron Slater, it is about political ethics and political responsibility.”
